Privacy policy

Decora (“Decora”, “we”, “us”), operated by Zenova Labs, helps you analyse and redesign your spaces using AI. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Information we collect
- Account details — your email address and name, provided directly or via Apple/Google sign-in. Providing a display name is optional.
- Room photos — images you capture or upload for analysis.
- Scan results and preferences — the analysis, ratings, recommendations, generated visualisations, and the style and room preferences you select.
- Subscription status — your plan and entitlements. Purchases are processed by Apple and managed through RevenueCat — we never receive or store your payment card details.
- Usage and diagnostic data — basic logs, device information, and in-app usage analytics (via PostHog) used to operate, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
How we use your information
We use it to provide room analysis and visualisations, save your scan history, operate and enforce your subscription, understand how the app is used so we can improve it, provide support, and maintain the security and reliability of the service.
AI processing
To generate your analysis and visualisations, your room photos and related data are sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) for processing. We do not use your photos to train our own models. This processing is subject to the provider’s terms and data-handling practices.
Storage and security
Images are stored in private cloud storage (AWS S3) and are only accessible through short-lived, signed links generated for your session. Account and scan data are stored in our database (Supabase) with per-user access controls, and data is encrypted in transit. Your scans and photos are not shared publicly or with other users.
Sharing
We share data only with the service providers that power the app — OpenAI (AI processing), AWS (image storage), Supabase (database and authentication), RevenueCat and Apple (subscriptions), and PostHog (usage analytics) — and only as needed to run the service. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law.
Third-party links
Decora may show links to products on third-party retailers such as Amazon, which open in your browser. We may earn a commission on qualifying purchases. We do not share your personal information with these retailers; their sites are governed by their own privacy policies.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account, which removes your account, scans, and stored images.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at oliver@zenovalabs.com.au. Depending on where you live, additional rights may apply.
Children
Decora is not intended for children under the minimum age stated at sign-up, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
We may update this policy and will revise the effective date above when we do.
